i should stick to bowling... ahaha... man now i miss badminton... lol wth...
okay... i will TRY to finish all mi hw in the nxt 8 hours. yup im gonna study straight...
coffee is gonna be my best friend... again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the reason i decided to edit this is coz... mi blogs are getting unusually similar time and time again...
its time i BLOG!
no. 1 news (or rather new) topic of the week - undeniably - posting to JCs.
to be honest, i dun think i'll be considered as an active player in the discussion of this topic. and i have no plans to get involved... okay okay plz dun go into the DSA part... it makes mi go mad lar... eh im tryin to get in by merit k.
i will have to.
meanwhile the anti-SA campaign by 406 has resurfaced again. hoho veri interesting affairs.
yaya the CJ talk la la... well i have had friends asking mi where to go and mi answer always ends with "ultimately its your choice"... and hence i will TRY to erase all criticisms of CJC i have in my mind coz well guys - its yer choice right? enjoy yer time there... really... i'm sure u guys will... just lyk u all have in SJI.
SAJC! woohoo... okay okay. im so darn proud im going there!! *LIFTS HEAD HIGH* *STRUTS IN MAD LAUGHTER*!!! okay im gonna promote SA now.
Firstly they have super duper nice uniform!!! (envious right?)
Secondly we have pop superstars!! woo r u a yanzi fan? or a JJ fan? Junyang fan? well they all come from SAJC!!!
Thirdly we have the best bowling team in singapore!!!! well schools' bowling team dat is. WAHHHHHH bowling rawks man! SAJC Bowling Team = Champs!
Of course SAJC ahaha has so mani mani mani more positive points... but listing them all would take forever. so i'll just pick one more out.
SAJC is better than CJC!! ahaha sorry but i must do this. of course when many pple make this generalised comparism they often do it in terms of studies. and i've heard enuff crap in sch to make mi wanna spit it all out on mi blog!
SA's entry score - 9 & 11. CJ's entry - 15 & 16.
SA is ranked 8th - behind RJ HC VJ TJ AJ NJ AC.
CJ? ahaha if i say out i scared pple will be frightened of goin CJ liao. so i wun... just not as good as many pple in mi sch think of it to be.
i would like to extend my fullest apologies to those who i might have made unhappy in the above comment. however they were only facts that were extracted from MOE's web.
its time to end this topic. well all i can say now is never let the institution u attend carve out who you are - YOU carve out who you are.
Ultimate, it's your choice.
another topic that is hot in the news recently are the prelim results. (damn why must everithing be related to studies?) some pple performed above expectations, some below. many felt many didn't deserve their marks - whether it is higher or lower, all for a variety of reasons.
i once heard a quote from somewhere that made a lot of sense - "what our eyes sees, and our ears hear, our mind believes. However, most of it is just an illusion"
to put it simply - things are not always as superficial as many might seem to be.
i hope u all get what im trying to say.
recently the SJI Bowling Team was awarded the South Zone Team Award for finish 2nd and 3rd in the B Div and C Div nationals respectively. it's been another good year for the team and we have made remarkable progress, both on and off the lanes.
The team spirit has definitely improved, and so have many bowlers. The new secondary one batch shine with potential, and the secondary four batch leave with lots of experience embedded in them.
We have had a new teacher on board, and have moved closer in our dream to become national champions. It was a close shave during the Secondary Schools' League where SJI, having been tied on points with ACSi, lost out only on pinfall difference. Definitely an applaudable effort - for the fact that Lionel wasn't even on the winning team.
Again, Lionel brought home the masters title and brought much glory to the school.
SJI Bowlers also made huge impacts on other tournaments, like the National Age Group Championships.
Meanwhile, off the lanes, many advances were also made. We held our first ever overnight camp at Downtown East in December (3D2N), and are going to have another one in conjunction with the Milo International Junior All Stars in Kuala Lumpur in December this year for 8D7N.
It's been an honour serving as captain of a team that has garnered so much respect from our peers in the bowling circle. now that honour is with javier, and it is with much hope that he will bring the team to greater heights!
that was quite a post. time to study!
