to all of u who have learnt probability before, heres a question to stump u...
read carefully:
3 probability experts had been imprisoned and sentenced to death.However they were given a chance to live :
5 identically shaped hats were placed on a table, out of which 3 were black and 2 were white. After being blindfolded, each collected a hat and the 3 prisoners stood in a row. In turn each had to guess the colour of his own hat.
The first prisoner shouted out a color and was shot dead. the same thing happened to the second prisoner. with some thinking, the third prisoners miled, confidently shouted out the correct color and was released. State the colour of the hat each prisoner was wearing and explain yr reasons for thinking so.
know the answer?
now most people would choose black-black-white...
but that is WRONG!!!

reason:
the 3rd prisoner was confident- the only sure event is if he has the black hat, meaning the other two had white hats
so are u still so confident of your A1?
