hmmz lets reflect a little on mi bowling dis year...
b div nationals...
wow de event of de year...
made de team wif darryl leonard n august...
nv expected it to b so exciting...
wow so singles was veri excited... same lane as darryl den juz bowled... got quite frustrated in one of de early games as kept hitting pocket but de pins dun wanna carry... but in de end it was a gd day as i was palced 6th individual wif a 187 avg...
doubles was exciting... after a one day layoff... dere was definitely added pressure... but still it was positive pressure and although i started out wif mi lowest score of de day - 169... managed to pick up well enuff to end off wif a 226 n end de day wif a 193 avg... sadly darryl n i finished fourth but nvm it waz exhilarating... i was left emotional after mi last game coz i definitely wasn't concentrating on de scores n when i saw de scores after de sixth game i juz cldn't believe wad i juz hit... yeah 193 doesn't seem beri high but in de nationals to hit such a score which places u amongst de bez iz quite exhilarating... aiya simply coz itz de nationals makes it so worthwhile... honestly i think dis waz de BEZ day of mi 4 yrs of bowlin...
n guess wad... after doubles... sji was leading overall championship...
after one of de longest weekends of mi life... we had quartet...
wow it waz dead farking pressure on... unexpectedly of course i was leading de sji team towards our first ever championship n wif dat pressure i totally crashed... first day... 16, den 13... luckily last game waz a 200+ which saved mi day to a 17+ avg... so yea... but second day... wah fark... totally screwed up...
i dunno wad to say but i relli think i cost mi team de championship dis year... i mean after doubles in de all events i was third but i crashed to tenth after de quartet and dat alreadi cost our team seven points... summore wif mi goin down i allowed sum acsi peeps to go up n so personally i cost mi team at least ten points... and to cap it off wad a lousy performance at the masters...
haiz it was beri frustrating knowing that the prize dat u work so hard for... in de end itz yer own fault that made it slip frm u...
so dat waz why i wanted to make it up during the schools' league...
we played ourselves into position n halfway through de league we were leading by four points...
and it all boiled down to de final week where whichever team - acsi or sji... whoever won wld take de title... simply pia-ed de whole week juz to psyche mi form up a little but once again i disappointed miself by bowling a 16+ avg...
to think we lost by so little... dey onli hit a 2026 n took de title... hmmmzzz it was disappointing especially when we had so much support... once again to nt do well n cost yer team de title... it iz veri frustrating...
but of course without a doubt... if we look at the general picture... the sji bowling team has improved by leaps and bounds as compared to where we were bfore... and the team spirit that we possess is one that i belive is unmatched by any other sch... we have also showed that we are a force to be recognized with by doing so well during the schools league...
acsi are a strong opposition and we definitely respect them for the fact that they are good... but all i can say iz that as a captain i will, together wif uncle ronnie... build up the team to a level that no one has seen before... and when the nationals arrive... well all that can be said iz...

hmmmz individually... the most memorable competition i entered would hafta be junior masters...
so qualified yeah n such...
first round was lucky to get a walkover... but de second round was a fight wif roger ni and ultimately i was lucky that he missed his spare n dat was how i went through to the third round with a guaranteed free junior classic entry...
aniwaez third round agaisnt derek chan and well... pple were alreadi surprised that i could get past roger and dis dey tot i definitely wld be out... actually i almost tot so too haha...
he bowled 24+ and won de first game and the second game he made lotsa mistakes which i managed to capitalise on and sumhow won it... the third game was veri tiring yet i managed to put together a string of strikes to land a 22+ game and went on to the quarters... wah sumhow la...
wow now quarters... a win wld give mi a free trip to milo... anithing less would onli have a junior classic entry...
nigel... first game we both screwed up so i tycoly won coz i hit16+ while he hit 15+... but aniwaez second game i played a 188 and he hit a 21+ so no fight...
final game... i spared or striked... but no connects... in de first five frames... i think nigel had a turkey sumwhere but i cant rmb... all i rmb iz i waz down ten pins in de sixth frame i think den i connected mi fifth n sixth frame n den STUPIDLY missed a pin 3 i left on mi seventh frame... too kan chiong liao... den connected eighth n ninth... at dis moment... we were tied...
i had a brilliant line to use on the tenth frame and if i striked i wld have been guaranteed to go to milo... but i got a sleeper...

had i hit one pin... yea juz de pin 3 we wld have gone 9th n 10th frame wif a chance of winning... but den too bad... i din...
wierd... i din feel angry at anythign after that... uncle ronnie came to tell mi i shld have let nigel bowled first but den i juz said nvm la... as in relli i didn't care leh...
DUNNO WHY...
but i muz admit it waz a gd tournament where i managed to concentrate throughout all the games... and well itz gd coz mental improving mah...
aniwaez yeah bowling rawkz n will continue to rawk... i lurve bowling n bowling lurves mi... ?!?!?!?!?! oh relli??? hmmm nvm so next year i'm gonna win more titles!!! kk bowling rawkz... tc... nitez...
