long hard thoughts...
but i guess i've made mi decisions...
ok... i hope all reading my blog will help mi here...
plz read on...
lets say theres this major competition, and this team "qwerty" is in it...
they have always finished runners up in all major competitions, never won...
but right now, they are leading...
the competition works in the format of a league, where it is played over six weeks...
the team that gets the highest score each week gets 12 points, and the next highest team gets 11 points, then 10 points and so on n so forth...
the fourth week has just passed and here are the standings...
Team Qwerty: 44 points
Team Qwerty's main rivals: 42 points
....... the rest are not so impt...
there are seven members in team Qwerty and four will get picked to play every week...
there are only two weeks left, and team Qwerty has a problem... they do not know who to field for the remaining two weeks...
therefore, team Qwerty needs YOUR help... yes YOU... reading this right now... team Qwerty needs your advice on who to field for the remaining two weeks...
the first of the remaining two weeks will be played at SAFRA Tampanies, the last leg will be played at SAFRA Yishun...
now let's elaborate on the seven members of team Qwerty so that YOU will have a clearer picture on who to help team Qwerty field...
Team Qwerty member 1:
He has been bowling relatively well during the league, with averages of 18+... however, during training, he always screws up and it might be time that his high averages run out of steam... but more or less, he has been relatively consistent in competitions... however, he does not like the lanes at SAFRA Tampanies and feels like he has no confidence when he goes there to bowl...
Team Qwerty member 2:
He is in the form of his life right now, getting the highest individual series during the third leg of the league and also bowling averages of 200+ in other tournaments... however, experience when playing in big time matches is against him and he tends to panic when it comes down to the wire... his confidence is also easily shaken when he simply misses a spare... however, when he won the third leg of the league he did so at SAFRA Tampanies, and as i stress once again, he is in the form of his life... the only thing to worry about is how long he will stay at his peak...
Team Qwerty member 3:
He is not bowling very well at the moment, due to a long break from bowling... however he is building himself up and during the previous round of the league, he won the highest individual series at SAFRA Yishun... however, he is seemingly inconsistent but when he does well, he really does well...
Team Qwerty member 4:
He has a very strong mental ability, and his strokes on the ball are improving to quite some extent... he has always anchored the team, and doing so has brought the team some victories at the same time... Experience is in his favour and he never crumbles when the heat is turned on... however, his scores do not reflect the technical elements of his game and although he has consistently hit the 16+ or 17+ scores, he has not been able to hit the high averages... but in times of need, the team can always count on him to deliver the goods...
Team Qwerty member 5:
He is always very nervous and has no confidence when he goes into big matches... however, his skills are definitely in place and he has consistently hit the 16+ and 17+ scores... at another tournament at SAFRA Tampanies just two weeks ago, he hit a 199 average, and has bowled a 18+ average during the other time he has bowled during the second leg of the league...
Team Qwerty member 6:
His mental strength is somewhat difficult to judge... but he is fearless of big challenges and is always brimming with confidence... however, his game has been on the slide and although he still has confidence in his game... it isn't as much as before... he bowled a 15+ average when he played the third leg of the league which was held at SAFRA Tampanies... but has consistently done well at SAFRA Yishun... His hunger for success will put him in an advantage when things go down to the wire...
Team Qwerty member 7:
He doesn't have a very strong mental ability, but when he is on form, you can expect a very high average to crush all other opposition... however, when the heat is turned on he will be expected to get nervous and it will lead to uneven scores... he is working on his release part of his game at the moment and this might be a distraction to the scores that he hopes to get... he doesn't really have that much hunger for success and experience is also against him...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
now that you have listened to all those, i really appeal to all who read this to tag at mi tagbox to tell mi who u think should bowl in the first leg and who in the second leg... remember that it is four bowlers per week, and things are going down to the wire, especially during the last week...
u may pick a bowler twice, or even not at all... please pick wisely...
thank you for your time... you may go to the tag box now...
