Did You Know??
Tortoises and turtles have a fear of height.

Once again the youth fraternity of bowling gathered at Cathay Bowl Chevrons for the weekly STBC League.
It was the second week of the second round of the Secondary Schools STBC League, which was now divided into two divisions - Premier Division and 1st Division to ensure that everybody has a chance to win.
The first game started smoothly for SJI Team 1, which comprised of Wong Yew Liang, Joel Teo, Glenn Ng and Ng Hong Liang. They managed three beer frames in their first three frames and went on to have one more beer frame in the fifth. Five frames into the tournament and they were in the lead.
However, their luck turned sour when the pin setter crashed on them and the maintainence took more than half an hour. In the meantime, other teams had already finished their second and last games.
They were soon transferred to another lane and their luck continued, managing two more beer frames en route to a 785 series in their first game, at the same time, taking a huge lead.
The other teams soon finished their games and there were news that they finished poorly. News came that ACS(i) and ACS(BR) were out of the running for the top prize and it was Catholic High and Singapore Sports School that were challenging SJI.
The second game did not start off very well for SJI but towards the end, they came together and bowled a 675 series, which was only an average score. At this moment, Catholic High fell out of the running and it between SJI and Singapore Sports School with SJI holding a slight lead of 60 pins.
The third game got off to a flying start for the SJI keglers as they picked up spares and strikes and by the fifth frame, they had hit 370. It was at this point where there was no longer any fight and SJI went on to hit a 716 series, ahead of the Singapore Sports School's 701.
Congratulations SJI Bowling Team, hitting a total pinfall of 2176, a 182 team average.
